https://www.bbc.co.uk/sounds/play/p06zt4fz To be expected I suppose, but we absolutely dominated them. He can't seriously believe a lot of what he says here.
I don't think he said much wrong apart from the penalty. Don't know if it was or wasn't and he probably had a better view than me . There was an element of luck about both goals so I agree with him there. Had they got the penalty and scored who knows . Yes we had more opportunities to score, but didn't. Decisions turn games that's all he was saying really.
I think the key is being an ex Leeds player. It provides a real propensity to talk sh*te. Like listening to Bowyer all over again. They were very poor. So poor that most BFC fans were very relaxed. Yes, relaxed. Almost unheard of.
Did McCall play for Leeds? I can only remember him at Bradford (with John Hendrie) and at Sheff Utd in the latter stage of his career from the local teams. Not heard the interview but nobody in their right mind could say we were poor at any stage of the game today!
Didnt go today. As working tonight. Just listened to his interview, looking at BBC stats reds 21 shots them 5. Wat is he talking about that had super chances and they restricted us to the 2 goals and nothing else.
It was nice watching the last ten / fifteen minutes without any nerves. Not once did I feel that we wouldn't win.
Had that been a penalty, I've no doubt we would have won anyway. We only scored 2, should have had more, but we never got out of 1st gear, we had no reason to.
Talking of penalties, I was talking to someone last week (Think huddersfield fan), who bemoaned their lack of penalties and I chipped in (Think I'm right) we have had two pens in two years, which he shook his head at. Glasgow rangers got more in one match yesterday! (3).
2 shots on target one was that header straight at Davies and the other one was the save Davies tipped over the bar both in the 1st half. I expected alot more from them to say they were an in form team.
They were a terrible side and offered absolutely zero. No doubt whatsoever what the result was going to be.
I’ve only seen the highlights on Sky, but they made it look like a pretty even game. Both our goals had a touch of fortune about them, and Scunny hit the post and missed a couple of sitters.
