    He's scored 4 In 17 in the Championship for Wigan. Hardly earth shattering. I wonder what the reaction would be if we bought someone who looks like a short term fix but probably can't cut it in the Championship for 3-4 million.
    That said if they go up and he still doesn't deliver they can flog him again to Sunderland Mk II.

    According to reports. He signed just before the deadline but Sunderland decided to hold the news back for 12 hrs. I suppose everyone involved in the deal went to beddie byes. and someone couldn’t be arsed to announce it till morning. :confused:.

    It's an incredible waste of much needed cash to sign Grigg for that much. They replaced arguably the best young striker outside the prem with a 27 year old who's of the same quality as Bradshaw. If they get promoted there is not a doubt in my mind that the consequences of this will bite them on the @rse and likely limit their performance in the Championship.

    They didn't have a choice re. Maja. He was out of contract in the summer and didn't want to stay at Sunderland .
