    I know it's been done a thousand times but how do I go about changing my username? Darfield is no more for me and my family, we're moving back to the bright lights of beautiful down town goldthorpe.

    Hopefully there isn't a goldthorpe-red on here, cos if there is I'm going to have to knock him out. ;)

    I was born and bred in thurnscoe, moved to darfield and then moved to goli. I've loved a very blessed life.
    Most beautiful place in Barnsley. Wouldn't expect owt different from a daft southerner ;)

    Aye mate was brought up on Hanover st, the things I saw as a teenager still to this day blows my mind. You weren't brought up on broadwater was you? Haha

    So I've been told mate haha I must hear that every other day. There used to be an industrial unit that was empty towards hickleton that we as teens used to get into and have a rave. Must have been 200 lads and lasses in there on a Friday. I think the police knew but chose to turn a blind eye to it, there was nothing around there for us to do.

    Wild west didn’t come into it . Lads coming from Houghton, Bolton ,and Mexborough just for the craic .
    It was a proper mining town pub where people liked to go and kick seven bells out of each other .
    Most of em on different sides used to come darn pit and talk about it together then come weekend were knocking each other abart again come weekend . Lol
