But massive praise to the physios of both teams. Not for how they treated him, they may have been crap at that for all I know, but for how quickly they all realised that it was a serious incident that required both physics of both teams out there. In hindsight it's easy to look at the video and say omg that looks nasty but that's only because we know it was. In real time would you be THAT concerned on one viewing? The commentators weren't. They said he fell badly but weren't dramatic like it was anything out of the ordinary but those trained physios were watching and in an instant they knew it was more than an ordinary clash of heads. Well played ladies and gentlemen
It sounds like everyone involved did a very professional job, everyone except the taxi driver who thought it was ok to block an ambulance in which delayed him getting to hospital. Not that it would have changed much but it could have done. Best wishes Kieffer.
He did but that's standard for any head injury really. It was how they knew to send two out each that I was impressed with
Yeah. Don't like Kettle much, but in this he acted quickly for a serious injury. Well done Kettle and both sets of phisio's/medic's. Hope Moore recovers soon.
The loud cracking noise and that Kieffer didn’t move while lying flat on his back, yes, I think many thought it serious. My first thought was that he was unconscious and could swallow his tongue.
Mentioned on another string last night. No matter what you think of Trevor Kettle. His reading of that situation was impeccable. Not all refs would have reacted so quickly, unfortunately! And the physios & medics reacted like lightning. I had hoped my initial thoughts were incorrect (felt sick), but this mornings news seems to confirm the seriousness.
