Hi guys Just arrived here and thought I'd pass on a few tips .....if travelling by car. As pompy tyke stayed best way is m1 to jct 15 then on to Oxford etc. There's a 50 mph limit at around the east Midlands airport for about 10 miles, then everything else is kind of ok until you get to the end of the A34 to join the M3 (usual tailback there of around 2 miles). Then as you go onto the m275 there's a 50 limit ..for smart motorway for 10 miles. Hope this is useful, please drive safely COYR!
Good to hear my route got you here safe and sound, enjoy your stay in pompey and hopefully a happy return journey, without splitting hairs the smart motorway is the M27 the M275 is the 2 mile stretch that takes you into the city
I come down once per month buddy (for last 12 months) my girlfriend lives in portchester. I tried the London way once (both ways) and it was horrible. May see u at the match tomorow, I'm just off to check out the house in titchfield common now, so thanks for the local info on that too.

Ha ha the cormarant got shut down last year for a time because of poor hygiene, it's nice down that end though but when i see a terraced house for sale for 400k it makes me homesick lol

Did it ...bloody hell!....I went a few week's ago it was nice. Just looking at the local rag and talking to a lad down here....they ain't too confident but will take a draw, which I have always thought would be a good result here. I see Jackett has banged the drum this week (imho a good manager) and stated they eould get back to form soon but he has told everyone he hasn't fallen out with Pittman, he just hasn't been good enough. Bogle highly rated, think he will be a good test for our 2 centre backs too.
