I don't want to be all ''i' told you so' but watch Lindsay when he gives the ball away. His first reaction is to grab hold of their player and throw him around.

    Liability

He's not made contact at that point. It's just a still of cavare on his way to the player. Contact is much later

    Bloody hell!
That took ages!....but that was the best I could do from the video....if u slow it right down frame by frame it's still outside.
I get why the ref gave it...but initial contact defo outside.

Best centre half at the club but yeh, lets make him some sort of scapegoat. Give me strength.

The word liability is a good one to use in a thread about Cavare though. I’ll add Bahre into that category too.

Watching it frame by frame I'd say this is where the first contact takes place
Cabaret himself is outside the box but it's hard to see where the two legs touch

What's your opinion on how often he grabs hold of players and wrestles them?

It's not a nasty streak it's stupidity. Gives away so many fouls because of it and puts us in danger

That's your opinion, but how many times have you seen opposing CHs holding Moore down? Happens all the time and they get away with it anall

A lot yes but there's a difference between holding (which both Lindsay and pinnock regularly do) and literally throwing someone around which Lindsay does all the time and in a very obvious manner.

The swine! No wonder we've got the worst defence in the league. After all, we have the worst centre half. And the worst full back. And the worst goalkeeper.

I just wish you’d give your opinion of Lindsay to us instead of sitting on the fence with it every week.

My question would be how many times has he been penalised for it? Every team in the country does it, most much more than us and rarely is it penalised, I’d be much more concerned if he was a pushover. Im also much more concerned about the disaster waiting to happen playing right back every week.

That's debatable I'd say pinnocks has had a far better season and stendel obviously rates pinnock more highly.

What makes you think he rates Pinnock more highly? I like Pinnock too and he probably has had a better season, think Lindsay is the one who would look better in the league above though.

Just the fact that pinnock has played every league game this season. Lindsay was dropped after a few fingers were pointed when we conceded from set plays away at scunny and Coventry.
I like Lindsay but Jesus if you listened to some in here you would think he was the next Paulo maldini. I think pinnock is more comfortable in possession better at playing the ball and rarely loses a header. Think they will be both gone if we don't go up mind.

I think Pinnock gets caught out of position too much, his pace gets him out of trouble at this level and actually makes him look good with his recovery challenges but in the championship he’d be punished much more. Lindsay is constantly looking to move the ball forward which I like but also means he’ll give it away sometimes.

Been to all home games and a few away. Can't agree with that, pinnock looks a class above this league and he is the one Lindsay often looks for to take the ball out of defence.
