    It's called being at work.

Where's the vitriolic outburst you refer to?

So you agree with what I have said, but don't like it because I have said it.

His goals per minute ratio is as good as most strikers and he will undoubtedly get more chances now, whether starting, or coming on as sub. There could be a few others who might develop well given more game-time - Hedges as a striker; Green as a winger; Brown as a striker? As someone else said, what player was going to come to us as a striker in January just to warm the bench? Ok, Portsmouth got Bogle and Vaughan, but their form has not turned round much yet. Daniel wanted to keep the current squad together and he got his wish, apart from Potts. We have to hope that the famed team-spirit will see us through and encourage fringe-players to come good over the last part of the season. So much positive in the team mind-set at the moment. We could just do with that win on Saturday in order to keep the adrenaline running. COYR

Time for new scapegoats.... it was thiam last season and the start of this that's gone quiet now he is 3rd highest goal scorer at the club and has been played on the left wing.

I wish people would stop peddling such utter *****. To suggest that no-one would want to be first change striker at a club like ours is ludicrous. The player would have been coming off the bench every game at the very least and one injury or suspension away from a start.

Have you got yourself and the club mixed up there on the vitriolic outburst front.

So they would be warming the bench then.

First change striker. The clue is in the name. Every club has one. I'm disagreeing that it isn't possible to get a half decent one.

On top of that, we wouldn't have said you're going to be third choice. We would have said we have two good strikers and it's up to you to force your way in the team. We don't have favourites we play people on merit.

I totally agree with you though, it's utter crap.

I've got a feeling that Miller was signed with the view to him replacing either Moore or Woodrow with us planning, at the time, to flog one of them in the summer. Only an opinion though.

I really like him, he's hungry and ready to prove a point. Gordie Owen springs to mind, He's not arrived via the usual method. He's dangerous and applied himself, he's the kinda player that could be amazing in the championship. Unknown and lethal, a bit like Charlie Austin, he's got the attributes.

During which he's played 148 mins of football, all as a sub.

Agreed. Both Brown and McGeehan have been transformed by getting game time. Both got their opportunity through other players being absent rather than first choice. Victor had scored a number of goals when given game time, I’m not really sure what the issue is either.

Well they weren't about to drop either of the front two given how they've been knocking goals in.

I agree with your concerns though I notice you framed the opening post in a way to have a sideswipe at those you perceive as happy clappers.
You know full well I agree with some of your stuff. What irritates me is the way you never, ever celebrate the positives at the club. Not players doing well, not games being won. But at the first tiny falter you're straight on here revelling in the bile and negativity. Indeed it's usually you who leads the charge.

During which time there's been lengthy absences of both Woodrow and Moore. I think that tells someone all they need to know about DS's opinion.
