I havent gone down any dark alley, its a pretty reasonable viewpoint. If you found out your daughter was homeless and living on the streets, would you give your spare room to her or a Syrian refugee? Its the same equation as the British government housing Refugees over its own citizens.
OK, I'm calling WUM on Keith, early posts were more subtle, but come on now, better than most, but definite WUM.
Sorry if the my posts dont equate to your head in sand, lets help everybody while baking cakes and fluffy puppies running round idea of your world but some of us are in the real one.
Little or no help ? Apart from the Russian army who drew most of the flack then the Americans , commonwealth and the Eastern European pilots who helped us win the Battle of Britain
Hi Keith. If you see 2 homeless people in the street outside your door - one was Asian but born in Barnsley, one was a white man called Steve but was born and bred in Cyprus by British parents and only recently moved back to Barnsley, which one would you prefer to 'help'? Would you grade it on complexion? Would you take the white man in? Do you have a system? Is it only people with Islamic complexions you don't like? Do you help 'our own'? Just curious. I'd love to know where you draw the line.
Id love to know how youve came to the conclusion that im in any way racist from my previous posts. Maybe my views dont back up your idea of the perfect world and the main way to discredit me is by trying to make me into a racist, im not quite sure.
Did any country take the women, children and many men of Britain into its country, home and feed them? I must have missed that lesson at school.
I didn't call you racist - I was just intrigued on the grading system you use for helping different humans who end up homeless that's all.
She was in the armed forces. Left, developed PTSD. A drinking problem occurred as the only thing that would help the pain.
So she chose to drink rather than pay her rent? Made some terrible life choices hasn't she. As a parent I've really let her down by not stepping in much earlier and getting her the help she needed to stop making terrible life choices. Remind me once again why me being a bad parent and my daughter choosing to buy booze instead of pay for the roof she had over her head has got anything to do with the poor ******** who's home has been blown up in Syria
Did you never cover evacuees at school? You know people who took our children in to keep them safe from the war ... didn't think that one through very well. Where would men and women go in a world that was at war?
Ahhhh right, so someone who has served this country in war and seen things no human should ever have to see, probably lost close friends along the way would have no right to come home and be mentally unstable about it? These people shouldnt be helped both professionally and financially while they recover before the citizens of another country? If they’re your beliefs then you are part of the wider problem this country currently has.
Speaking of not thinking things through very well, I believe your referring to the evacuation of children to other areas of Britain. Anything else to add?
