    Deliberate stamp or an accident?
Everyone on the sky commentary team seem to think it was deliberate

Looked like he meant it. It looked horrible and we are very lucky the ref doesn't have us down to nine men.

But then we are only suppose to have a go at the ref when decisions go against us not for us.

Always looks far worse slowed down, but I have to admit I think had it been seen he would have been in trouble

Definitely deliberate. not a natural place for his feet to fall at all.

Come on, we’ve seen him enough times to know he hasn’t got a reputation of stuff like that.

You’ve got to be a nasty individual to deliberately stamp on another person, definitely an accident

Looked accidental to me as their guy moved his her once McGeehan had started to jump over him could be viewed differently though

I assure if I had studded boots on and wanted to deliberately stamp on a bare leg ,that leg would be broken,so it was nowt of a challenge and their guy moved his leg to left anyway

Im not sure. He appears to have lost his head. Done two or three dodgy challenges in the last few minutes.

Just looked at his history he's been booked 32 times and sent off once but the interesting thing is when he broke his leg he was booked by the referee for how he reacted to the pain. Laid on the floor in agony and got booked because he punched the floor whilst screaming

    Can he be retrospectively punished?

I've been wondering the same. I think he can because the ref missed it.

Yes, and I think he will. We could be looking at a patched up starting XI for the next 3

Hadn't picked up on that at the time. Definitely moved his leg which would have affected things

I’m putting it down to like when you drop your phone and you try and catch it and just smash it harder into the floor, u don’t mean it but it makes it worse

I thought he placed his foot there but didn`t apply any pressure so stamp is a silly word to use.

I'm not sure how that can be punished as deliberate given the player on the floor moved his leg as McGeehan's was going down. Having said that it's the kind of thing that would happen to us.
