Sorry if previously done. But get the impression quite a few on here. Wombwellers. Darfielders. Jumpers (moi) etc. Went there between 68 and 72. Loved it looking back. The good teachers far outweighed the bad. If we got slippered we probably deserved it. Some great characters Mr Ramsden Mrs Bramley who taught me my only favourite subject outside games. ( maths) mr greenfield. To name a few. Bloody hell when I went to parents evening with my kids Mr Mitchell looked younger than I remembered him . Lol

I was there at the same time as you Hooky, as you say, the good ones outnumbered the bad ones. Mr Moss, top bloke, Miss Booth, Biology teacher who I believe was Dave Booth's sister.

I'm a fair bit younger than you but I also went to wombwell. Can we all agree on the fact Mr. Auld was ******* terrifying? He threw a rubber duck at me once, smacked me right on the cheek and I've never been the same kid since haha.

Mr Jackson aswell anyone? Lovely bloke him. Miss swinden too was a nice woman, helped me alot in my first few years.
