Got to be Mcgeehan’s replacement. A real chance to stake his claim in he side and show us what he’s all about.

I doubt this very much - team from Saturday plus Bähre and Green/Hedges

Would be very surprised if we through Styles straight into the team for potentially the toughest and most defining week of the season.

Already playing Dougall - can’t see a debutant stepping in

He could well be in line for some minutes from the bench, a chance for him

Oh aye, that assist for the 2nd on Saturday we could definitely do without.

Can't see Bahre or Green coming into a central midfield three unless the game is getting stretched like it was on saturday. I would go with Styles. Like for like swap. I'd also play Green where Brown was playing.

Bahre isn't renowned for putting a foot in though is he?

Yes he’s a decent impact player, I agree with you there.

However in terms of like for like replacement I imagine Styles is most suited. Bahre definitely isn’t. Unless we completely change the system. If so then it begs the question, why sign Styles at all?

If we put out a midfield including Bahre and Green we would get outfought he’s quick but lightweight and doesn’t look to be a great passer of a ball.

He did but Southend had gone a bit daft and getting too many bodies forward and leaving loads of space for him to exploit. We won’t get space like that at home by Accrington.

Dougall and Mowett in the middle.
    Barhe is behind Woodrow.

    Nailed ******* on.

Without meaning to be overly critical this is why the sale of Moncur for £120k was ******* retarded.

All these comments are academic in that Stendel will decide on Friday morning.

    I'd go:

    Davies
    Cavare Lindsay Pinnock Pinnilos
    Dougall Styles Mowatt
    Green Woodrow Thiam

I was glad to see the back of Moncur, but signing the lad on loan at Bradford & not being able to play him looks like a bit of a **** up. Moncur could at least come on for the last 20 in these games. We have little in the way of impact subs, other than Green / Hedges, depending who starts out wide & Victor in the middle, or throwing Jackson up top.

Why do people keep saying throwing Jackson up top?

Out of interest? Cos that’s a mental idea

For last 10/15 minutes it is an option. Not saying it's a great one. Monkey Tennis?
