    I said when it happened he'd be in trouble. Obviously there's no consistency, but if it had been done to one of our lads, there'd have been lots of cries of 'ban the ****' on here. In my opinion, and it is only that, Cam did have a nibble at their lad. Could have done more to avoid it.

    Whilst I've nothing against Southend then the same action should be taken on the challenge immediately preceding this.

    What an utter crock! Typical of the weak FA and I really hope this has a positive impact on the team and they go out and win every game now until the end of the season.

    An appalling decision, taking no account of Barnsley FC's submission.

    He's going to be a big loss - he covers a phenominal amount of ground during a match, both right up with the attack and then tracking back in defence.

    Who do we have to perform this role?

    OK, didn't think of that. At least we beat Southend & we can pick a fairly decent 11 tomorrow. Also the players will be fired up with the injustice of it all.

    It's a shame McGeehan doesn't captain their team isn't it? Otherwise there wouldn't have been a question of him receiving a ban.

    It's consistency though. Perhaps he could have. But the FA have set a precedent by saying that the Mings incident is not worth a ban - so the bar has been set. Was this worse? Absolutely no chance.

    Why are people surprised? Take off the rose tinted specs for a bit, the evidence is there. It was a daft thing to do.
