    Due to the FA’s stance on fairness for smaller/non-Descript clubs, BFC do not want the FA to compromise this so have voluntary withdrawn him from the next 3 games for the alleged X-rated assault on a Southend player who was lucky to escape without loss of limb or even his life.

    When you appeal a red card and lose, the length of the ban can be extended.

    Is it the same when we appealed this? So if we didn't think it was deliberate but accepted it, would he have been banned for less than three games? Is it three because we appealed and lost?

    It wasn't an appeal.
    He was charged with violent conduct. The club were given an opportunity to respond before a disciplinary decision was made. Violent conduct is a minimum 3 match ban, I believe.
