Very fair of you to say that mate, as I've said on here a few times before you play a great style of football and ditto - I hope you go hope but not at our expense but it's look like it for one of us.

Just wondering why you have adopted the name of a Geordie cop on here? Odd choice for a Sunderland supporter o_O

We're pleased with the point. Didn't play for the draw though like some of your fellow fans seem to assume.

:) to be honest it was a pure accident, it was a combination of a couple of related words I jumbled together. However I could be described as a Geordie Sunderland supporter as I am from the Gateshead area but my family have supported Sunderland for several generations back when Gateshead and Sunderland were both part of County Durham.

Yeah don't take to heart too much what some of our resident lunatics say at times. There are plenty on all message boards.
We both played our normal games. We always player 1 striker and 2 wide men and that is us going for it. We've tried 2 strikers and it's been disastrous.

We prefer 442, but moore's injury has made us 4231 or 433, whichever way you look at it.

Your formation was difficult to break down tonight. There was nothing going through the middle as you crowded the edge of the area, so we worked the ball wide but the final ball was largely poor.

This is the difference with not having Moore in the side. Lots of crosses and corners come to nothing.

Spender often goes undercover? Maybe he doing that here? He may really be a Hartlepool fanatic?

    Only time will tell.

Love Spender. Love everything Jimmy Nail has done, whether acting or singing.

It’s a great name though. Brilliant character well acted by Jimmy Nail, but then everything he does is top rank.

Haven't seen him on tv for a while. A couple of people I know we're extras in Spender.

Was watching Get Carter the other week, Michael Caine knew how to deal with criminal riff raff, a classic.

One of my favourite lines from Spender (albeit not by the man himself. Having dinner in a restaurant looking at the very rare steak on his plate....Waiter:" we serve our steak rare here...."Spenders mate:" Take it back, Wyaye man, a good vet would have that back on its feet!)

    Classic!!

Classic film! I love the British films from that era, especially the northern ones.

My granny is in the background of a scene when a car leaves the now demolished Gateshead multi storey car park.

My favourite line is to Alf Roberts (Yeah using his Corrie character name):

'You're a big man, but you're out of shape. With me, it's a full-time job. So behave"

    Classic

    Brilliant!
I'm going to have a search online for the Spender series.

Surprising how he seems to have dropped off the radar in recent times. Perhaps he's concentrating on his music career.

I've seen AWP over and over and love every episode. He's brilliant as Oz but it was surprising how they changed his character completely as it went on.
Still haven't seen the final series of Crocodile Shoes - must have missed it somehow and it's not available in the usual online places.
Spender was an almost believable character but still really well done, with great Tyneside locations of course.

They had quite a few corners in first haif which once again we cleared comfortably, noticed this tother week anall, second haif corner we were under a bit more pressure with the wind but still came out unscathed.

Earlier in season we looked weak at defending corners narr we look very solid at em. Thats narr 2 from corners for Donny on Friday.
