After my post earlier toady I followed the link to the £4 pass, received my code and activated it, also installed the Nowtv app on the laptop.
    Works fine !!
So will be able to watch tomorrows game in comfort, knowing I've not lined the pockets of Sky tv (directly, at least)

Have you got a Smart TV/XBOX/Playstation?? Should have the NOW TV app already on them so you can watch it on t'big telly. I was slightly wary about the £4/week, but gave it a go and the code came through. Shame it didn't stretch to the setdi after for Walsall!

Yes we've got a smart tv and Nowtv is on it, I've now got Sky sports running on that as well so again, ok for tomorrow !
I've emailed the guy who runs this "deal" and asked what happens at the end of the one week, does any payment get automatically get taken from your bank to continue the subscription but at full price and he's replied straight away to say that it stops until and unless you renew it with a new pass, so we'll be able to watch the Walsall game for another four quid if we want.
Seems a good deal, hope there are no glitches later !
    We'll keep each other informed.

No, all you've bought is a one-week pass. If you buy monthly passes through NowTV themselves, then you do give them payment details which automatically renews when the pass expires unless you cancel your 'subscription'. These are just standalone passes bought from private sellers - they can't take any more payment unless you buy again.

when you activated it etc did you have to put your bank details in, even though it then told you that you owed nothing?
