Saw that SB, but in one bulletin I saw after they had made their statements a Political observer said he didn't
believe a word of what they saying. It's a case of watch this space I think.

Nowts perfect but we seem to be doing ok within the EU (4th largest economy in the world or summat) so what are we going to gain ? More to lose than gain as I see it.

What am I going to gain from leaving the EU ? ....£3k in the bank, caring for my disabled missus and using all our spare cash from benefits (worked as a couple for 20 odd years self employed cleaning ) to travel while she still can. These luxuries already cost us 15% + more than they did 3 years ago....that's before you look at day to day stuff that went up after the vote.

The Unelected Commissioner was elected by our elected leaders.....who elects the leaders of the WTO ?

There’s very little point posting evidence when it comes to you as your paranoia sets in straight away..

    Right wing slurs
Made up to demonise Corbyn etc.

In fact the last time I’m sure you said I was making up something that was on the evening news...

    Anyway....

That’s interesting as I always thought the airways were controlled on Francos behalf by Hitler and the Republicans had no air travel whatsoever .
What is also interesting is that Francis forces were obviously strongly opposed in Spain but the factious fighting by the freedom fighters did more damage to themselves than Francos forces backed by a Moroccan Militia could ever do .

you seem to be happy with the eu handling of the greeks

well According to the European Union’s Maastricht criteria, EU member states may not have a budget deficit that exceeds three percent of their Gross Domestic Product (GDP) or a national debt that exceeds of sixty percent of the GDP.

the uk exceed both these stipulations so now please stop carping on about tory austerity because in the eyes of the eu it was more than justified

the germans ,incidently, while their gdp is a convenient 3%, their national debt was 70 odd percent of gdp, with their close partners france and belgium both in excess of this

    https://www.europeaninstitute.org/i...cial-reform/1180-austerity-measures-in-the-eu

the sheer scale of the amount of countries in the eu exceeding the eu's own stipulations seriously raises some questions on their moral compass of those running the show, remember the greek crisis is looked upon as a humanitarian crisis and not just a monetary one

In the early days France in particular supplied aircraft, but they were pressured into joining the Non intervention Cttee, that cut the numbers, Russia put a lot of aircraft and pilots into Spain, I forget the number, but 7 or 8 hundred pilots rings a bell....but at the end of the day they never had a prayer once the Luftwaffe got involved.
I think you're right in saying that infighting was a major factor in the Republican downfall....I read one autobiography that complained that his unit of the International Brigade were sacrificed on unwinnable tasks.

About 200 Welshmen went to fight in the Spanish Civil War - 33 were killed. Almost all from the Welsh Valleys.
After the Spanish conflict despite objections from Westminster 4 Basque Childrens Homes built in Wales -

Not just me who feels the benefit of your wisdom though.

Theres several posters you included whom spout the right wing conspiracy tropes everytime Glorious Leader and his ilk is critisised.

Regardless of what evidence is offered.

The ironic thing being you are constantly offering your opinion and very rarely substantiate it with any fact yet you demand anyone whos opinion you dont agree with provides anecdotal evidence to support it.

I am laughing at this..... you are placing a lot of trust in UK politicians to do what is right..... on current and previous form they will only do whatever it takes to look after themselves...

I've noticed recently that Brad Potts hasn't figured much for Preston. I wonder if he's been injured?
