@Stefarno You did start the thread in bizarre fashion. We have 7 games of this season remaining yet feel the club are going to cash in on Lindsay in the Summer. Who knows what will happen from now to then.
The OP is being ridiculous, but how some people can possibly reply that the January transfer window was a good one is beyond me. We weakened the squad as a whole and failed to strengthen (again) the department of the team with the fewest able bodies. It hasn't translated into losses (yet), but getting results is clearly a much more difficult task.

But a decent one in terms of only selling one player. I agree with you about leaving ourselves thin, but we've done well considering, and it could be a gamble that pays off. We'll have to see how it pans out.
What will constitute you being right at the end of the season? Players come and go but the club will be here forever. And it’s because of us selling players like Lindsay for £5m that we will continue to be around for a long time. Other clubs are starting to sit up and take notice that we are produing excellent young talent (especially defenders) and we’re now able to command significant fees for them and possibly creating bidding wars (Celtic, Villa, Brighton, Leeds, all rumoured to be interested.
Just to fact check this too. From a quick look, Potts and Moncur started together this season in the league a total of 7 times. 6 of those tims Moncur was subbed, which others have said in this thread, shows that he is just not fit enough and is a luxury player. Moncur wouldn’t have scored the winner at Walsall had he had Brown’s place because he couldn’t last 90 minutes. I’ll give you the Peterborough away game but to say that they played well together and we were at our best when they were playing, does a disservice to other (better) players such as Mowatt and McGeehan.
