Shame, really Edit: actually, rather it's a shame many still remain ignorant despite everything that's gone on in the last 2 years and 9 months
That’s doesn’t sound right to me as most republicans voted remain in solidarity with the RoI. Mostly ultra unionist voted leave .
Strangely enough, that's exactly how I feel now. I've always made an effort to get out and vote, but the polling cards for the next local elections arrived on my doorstep this week and I feel like chucking them in the bin. Politicians, on all sides, have done themselves no favours this past three years.
Yes as has the word "snowflake". Gammon and snowflake from my general observations are used by people who havn't got the necessary vocabulary to formulate a reasoned response.
Rotherham Donny and the North of Sheffield all true Brexit voting areas..You may have to move further afield, while holding your nose, and looking down, said nose at other people..

Watching that Leave walk that Farage organised, it's bloody obvious they've gone nowhere. That man could stay sober in Burton.
I bet they have and that’s why they trying to hold our feet to the fire on the first vote. I’d never shop at a place that said as soon as I’ve exchanged my money for their goods that I couldn’t take it back for whatever reason .
The "great brexit march": thousands of people standing up for what they believe in. Must have missed that one. Noticed around 50-100 people straggling the roads trying to make the line look longer...
gi-oer marlon, thy only wants a second vote because tha dunt like the way the first one turned out,its nowt to do with democracy. remember scabby notts bleating for a ballot,we told them to get stuffed as we'd already had one 18 months previous , part of their argument was people had changed their minds,it was undemocratic etc etc....... now dont tell me that was any different, the democratic vote had been taken and we stuck to it.
Maths a bit out, 70% voted, of those who voted 52% voted leave, so going to Oakwell only about 1/3rd voted leave, which is 50% less than you contend, after that maths work need a pint, whether you voted stay or leave 100% pleasurable
The Notts miners may or may not have been in favour of a second ballot they were in a minority up to the strike being implemented and after that’s not the case with Brexit . but they also crossed picket lines and that’s where I took the biggest issue. Scargill never opposed a second ballot it was the NEC that opposed it.
the Nec acted on behalf of us marlon,Scargill did oppose it but the democratic make up of the union meant that it was the national executive that took the decision. just out of interest how do you know that a majority want a second referendum because all the signals i see are from remainers who were in a minority
Quite a few polls and think tanks are indicating that remain would command an overall decision. https://www.google.co.uk/amp/s/amp....brexit-regret-remain-second-referendum-2019-2 https://www.theneweuropean.co.uk/to...er-kellner-on-latest-brexit-polling-1-5959173 https://www.google.co.uk/amp/s/www....be-the-desire-of-most-uk-voters-1-4895764/amp
I agree it's rather pathetic, however it's much easier to get the numbers out in London for the People's Vote march....A city of just under 9m, most of whom voted Remain...nip on the tube....do the march, and be home in time to watch yourself on the 6 O'clock news.
Thats true but it doesnt mean that 7 out of 10 people in Barnlsey voted leave which was the point made by the post from Spider Once you take out the 30% that didnt vote and the ??% that couldnt vote - no idea how many that is but it means that less than half in Barnsley voted Leave ( and less than 1/4 voted remain) In any case back to the OP = Brexit Day hasnt been cancelled - merely postponed to April 12th or possibly May22nd
