Re the membership scheme how many sell outs we had this season without making it to thr "general sale" category? I reckon we have sold out at: Bradford Scunny Fleetwood Peterboro Accrington Luton? Burnley Wimbledon Pompey Donny Burton Won't sell out Plymouth, will sell out Bristol. So that's 12 away games. Maybe 2 or 3 ( Wimbledon, Fleetwood, Accy) didn't get to general sale. Bristol presumbly won't. BUT given these figures is there a need to spend the £15?
Not if we get promoted to the championship unless we draw a big club away in the premier league or we end up challenging for promotion. After spending a bit more time thinking about it I won’t be bothering. £50 for me and my son to get a £1 a game off and a free game after 6 games. We’ve only been to 2 games at Oakwell this season and 3 away. I’ll take my chances tbh.
9 Points in the next 3 and Accrington and Rochdale get results against Sunderland I reckon Plymouth will sell out.
Plus next season we will have some expensive away days, they never sell out, shame really because we have the fan base to pack out leppings lane however people like myself will refuse to pay £40 to sit in there. I'd say its definitely worth taking the risk and not getting a membership.
We aren't likely to either with our half baked marketing. £1 discounts and a free game we've already paid for. I can't see people queuing down the car park for this one.
ofcourse, however its looking highly unlikely. We will go 8 points clear of sunderland and 7 Portsmouth on Saturday If we win. Plymouth is the 3rd to final game so they lose their games in hand then its job done. (wishful thinking)
Plymouth will sell out easily, there redeveloping main stand so away teams get a reduced ticket allocation
1215 tickets on Easter Monday. Unless it is a promotion decider (unlikely) I can't see it selling out. I'm taking 4 of those mind, down seeing in-laws for the weekend who live 30 mins away!!
It’s a near 25 thousand seater stadium, there’s plenty of city clubs that wouldn’t even sell it out. We do well when you look at the likes of Rovrum and Donny.
I'll be there if I can get a second ticket. Who could forget the dog show they laid on after the game where we preserved our Championship status a few years ago.
What is - Oakwell its nowhere near 25000 at the moment. It might be officially 23000 but in practice we are only allowed to sell 4500 away tickets not 6000 and we have closed half the West stand - another 2500 tickets - Capacity much nearer 20000 than 25 these days
Mr rogue trader Leave Rotherham and Doncaster out of this -crowds are not everything you can’t make people attend football matches Yes Barnsley attendances are quite good for the size of town
You’re right I apologise I was wrong to criticise Donny and rotherham’s Crowds. They actually do pretty well to get anyone wanting to follow them when you consider the shitholes they come from
Never forget that day. The Matchday Announcer asked us if we'd mind waiting to celebrate survival with the team 'til after Plymouth had done their "lap of honour", players kit and boots were flying everywhere, Boggy stripped to his underpants (Mrs Hough has never fully recovered!), Fozzy forgot to give his boots to a kid in the crowd and had to come back out. Why they thought they needed a row of Stewards, a row of Police and a row of dogs to keep us off the pitch is still beyond me. We're not Millwall when all said and done!
You are very insulting Barnsley a lovely place I want to live there . I want to live there I want to live there barnsley a lovely place I want to live there
