Not sure what the spl can do with regards brown. Yeah its poor sportsmanship but the 1st instance he obviously winds the lad up who has already been sent off 4 times previous this season so abit of a loose canon.
2nd with Kent again winding up but if Kent's young and daft enough to react he deserves all he gets.
3rd celebrating in front of the rangers fans. The 1st goalscorer for Coventry celebrated infront of the ponty will he be punished.

Try £12 million. That's what Liverpool are hoping to get for Ryan Kent this Summer. Madness.

That mate would be a good start but really closure of 2 football clubs and banning their so called fans whose only interest is in continuing the 1690 stramash aka the Battle of the Boyne.

Whilst I like how Brown gets under the skin of players and no doubt gets a tonne of grief from other team's supporters, I think the respective FAs need to clamp down on players celebrating intentionally toward rival fans. If we are booking players for removing their shirt why can't this be looked at too?

I'm sure the Rangers fans probably gave him a tonne of abuse throughout the match, but two wrongs don't make a right. It would be great to pass it off as lighthearted "banter" but unfortunately fans can't often behave responsibly and this spills out onto the streets.

TBH Redrum I thought you were serious because the trouble in this fixture has little to do with football and more to do with religious bigotry.
I'm not religious in the slightest and when I switch on the telly and see all the trouble world wide due to religious intolerance I've often thought just ban religion. All fairy stories anyway. God is no more real than Santa Clause.
So now 3 people whether innocent or not of fighting are in hospital and police are looking for the culprits to put them on an attempted murder charge.

Yeah that's right a young Celtic fan has been stabbed in the kneck and two others stabbed over football/religion, madness. Another reason I wouldn't want either in the English leagues it would be madness every week at grounds.
I'm not too up on Scottish football ian but what is the reason Neil Lennon has had so much stick over the past few years if i remember right he got hit with a coin, and in the edingbourgh derby a fan tried to attack him. Is they a reason he seems to get targeted?

That's right, Brown should be charged as an accomplice to those stabbings.

Imo it's because he is a trouble seeking attention seeking idiot. And like what was said above a Catholic from N Ireland with issues.
To me he brings it on himself. Martin O'Neil never seemed to have the same trouble.

Sorry Helen but it is all about religion, unionism, royalty, Irish separation and the IRA and UDA.

I think that if one can't go to a football match without wanting to stab someone if an opposition player has the temerity to celebrate a title clinching win, then maybe football isn't for you.

He was intentionally celebrating and goading the away fans, I'm not sure why you are attempting to spin it any other way? I have no allegiance to either club and couldn't care less about Scottish football.

The comments I made earlier had nothing to do with the stabbings. I didn't see anything about it before posting nor have I read up on them so have no idea what has gone on. Clearly if someone has got stabbed then whoever did the stabbing must have had a knife on them at the game??? If that's the case then the intent to cause trouble was already there regardless. I'm not linking the two in that way.

The mentality of a small section of fans is the problem. Should a player be able to goad fans without any come back? Yes of course - id probably see the funny side and call him a knob under my breath and leave it at that. The reality at the moment is that it takes very little for coins etc. to be thrown though by mindless thugs. Also recent stuff with Grealish is a prime example.

I fail to see how anything I've said could be argued against to be honest?! If you're walking past a group of pissed up lads at the end of the night, is it wise to take the piss out of them and antagonise them? That is all I am saying. I am placing the blame with the fans, not Brown. Players goading fans just adds fuel to the fire.
