Its not factually incorrect. And it's mean spirited because I'd imagine the lad would give his eye teeth to be getting game time. He's not getting injured on purpose.
Yes it is. I was not banned after Cryne's death and to use that to points score is very poor taste. Funny that you're quick to point out poor taste in others but don't see it in yourself. How do you know he's getting injured? I think Stendel just wasn't selecting him. Like Jackett.
According to his interview when he first joined Portsmouth, Isgrove reckoned he was fit and had been for some time... and then he broke down in his first Portsmouth training session. I think we just bought a lemon, aside from that Wembley goal he was largely insignificant while he was here.
The ban is hardly the main thrust of the mean spiritedness is it? The fact that Jacket isn't selecting him undermines your argument even more. So the lad's stealing a living because he's not in the team? So the same can be said of every single player at every single club in the land who can't break into the first team. How is that their fault? They don't force clubs to give them contracts. You have an agenda with Isgrove. Fair enough, you don't rate him. But to revel in his injuries and lack of opportunity is.....mean spirited. Right, I'm off for the evening. Fire away.
I saw him play in a development squad game a couple of weeks ago for Portsmouth - he seemed ok but lacking in fitness as you’d expect with so little pitch time.
Hi Jimmy, looks like you're out-doing yourself here. Do keep going, it's really funny. Not too far though, I'd hate to see you pick up another ban. Best Regards RS ps Keep up the OCD therapy, it might help in some small way long term.
I think you would hate to see me get a ban. What reason would you have to "post" without me on here? I don't have OCD but to me this looks like you are mocking mental illness. Poor taste.
What's your solution to the Isgrove 'problem'? You can't just cancel the contract, it doesn't make sense for Lloyd to take a pay-off for less than the full amount of the contract (and I don't see why his agent would let him, without a club lined up) and at that point, you might as well just keep him on. So what's your solution? I think everyone can see that it hasn't gone as planned, but there's no need to be a **** about it. ...Or is this just another dig at the Cryne family for signing him? No, couldn't be, could it.
How is it the fault if the player? Look at Aaron Ramsey. £400k a week from next season at Juventus. I mean come on now.
I think even Conan knows it’s not the players fault mate, like I said earlier you’d have to be pretty unintelligent to believe those views and not for one minute do I belive that of him, I think he knows exactly ehat he’s doing and to be fair to CT, it works
Lads getting paid for **** all. As long as he keeps his mental health in check I’d say he’s sorted if he can keep getting contracts at good clubs.
Nothing can be done. We either sell him (fat chance) or we have to pay him up or let his contract run down. There is no way we can realistically cut our losses here. Two things annoy me about this situation. Firstly, look how few games he has played in his career. It's a joke really. There is absolutely no way he has been injured for the majority of the last seven years. There must be another reason why he never gets selected regardless of which club he is at. Secondly, what really annoys me is the way people not only defend him (and others like him) but actually try and turn him into a victim. It's bloody disgusting. There are many unfortunate people in this country. Professional footballers are not amongst them. Maybe I'm just too jaded or cynical. The Cryne comment is pathetic by the way. I have been and continue to be very critical of his tenure, but not everything is about him.
Is Lloyd's problem created by off the field of play activities ? .which in turn have a knock on effect. Could we have another Chris lumsdon or Paddy McCourt on our hands... If so That right hand lift has created quite a few problems over the years for many of the football fraternity ... Who knows
