That's not strictly true though, is it? They've never 'backed remain', mainly because that's never been an option since June 2016. Voting down May's ill-advised, ridiculous deal is not backing remain.

Labour havnt backed remain at all .
All the Labour Party have done is resist Mays deal it’s her doing that has alienated every party in parliament including some of her own.
If she hadn’t arrogantly said my way and no input and included a cross party input we would have now left the EU .
But to say Labour have backed remain because Msys deal is a piece of **** is incorrect .
This by the way is the same Parliament you want to take back power.

Regards labours stance of being in " a customs union " . It is my understanding that their trying to stay in the customs union , but trying to circumnavigate state aid rules as well as being allowed to strike new trade deals . The EU will reject it I'm afraid though they are voices in Europe wanting an end to state aid rules , Italy for one as their infastructure is literally dropping to bits ( the bridge collapse paid testement to that ) .

I`ve heard Theresa May is to auction off the fatal casualties at next weeks Grand National.

She likes flogging a dead horse.

Always funny how people and the media portray anyone who voted for Brexit either racist or uneducated.

I refer you to the Channel 4 Interviews in Barnsley the day after the referendum.

They didn't need to portray them in any way, they made themselves look like racist, uneducated neanderthals just fine on their own.

Not every leave voter is a racist, but all racists are leave voters.

Yep " I'm alright jack " . You sure are Betty . I never remember her doing some heartfelt speech prior to the Iraq war which led to the deaths of 100,000 s ; or while she sat in parliament while the banking system was lending money left right and centre which led to the 2008 crash which in turn has led to 100,000 plus premature deaths in the UK . I gave up listening to these deadbeats a long time ago .

One good argument for not giving the vote to 16 year olds...

Discussing what happened in the commons with the voting. Young lass pipes up, so what is this brexit that is in the news. Didn't even realise it was about leaving the EU.

Said to her, I though you had discussions about it in school. Replies with yes but didn't really get it, thought it was just something about stopping us travelling to Europe..

Mind boggles.. Think 18 is still correct so at least these kids can get at least some life experience outside of a school world.

PS..Just reading some of the comments from pompey_red & BarnsleyReds above. Coming out with those sort of comments doesn't really cast a glimmering light on your intelligence. Just lumping people into racists and questioning their intelligence is laughable. If you are looking at things from that perspective and creating your own prejudice against people, how is that actually favouring your own cause? It's just as bad as racism to peddle those views in my opinion.

I take your heartfelt words as advice and shall endeavour to be better in future, I didn’t question anyone’s intelligence, I said there were stupid and racist people who voted for Brexit, instead of an argument though I said it because I’ve seen with my own eyes racist and stupid people advocating Brexit, and advocating a no deal for reasons of racism and I can only deduce stupidity. They might not be racist or stupid but the people I base my opinion on do nothing to dispell the image. And again I fully understand not everyone who voted for Brexit are racist or stupid, that would be just daft if anyone thought that. But again il try to be better and I apologise for those words.

No but voting against the No Deal definitely is and against democracy ... The treacherous wolf in sheep's clothing... with her Bilderberg husband...the MP for Normanton Pontefract and Castleford seems to be a puppet for the elite. Things are not as they appear..

Ten years and we will all be under water and will have finished off the insects, butterflies, bees, bugs and soil life so unless we sort that out being in or out of Europe makes little difference. Having said that a disaster capitalism state like the UK will be with race to the bottom trade deals we will have zero resilience to cope
