Fair enough and I can see why there is no comment on the incident itself at this time. It would be nice if the club could tell us how Daniel is though - I dont see how that compromises either the police of football investigations
It would be nice, indeed, but my gut feeling is that our Daniel is not the kind who will make a fuss. Would be nice if we continue to deal with this the right way, culminating in a proper focussed team performance on Friday. Let football do the talking.
I would like to know how Daniel is getting on too. But we are secretive with undisclosed fees, Woodrow two weeks away, what's wrong with Moore and so on, so it's no surprise how he is has been kept from us. We should find out tomorrow when he does the Shrewsbury press. I reckon though it might be left to Tonge and he will play it down saying Daniel is OK.
Someone posted a Tweet on here from DS saying he was ok and focusing on Friday. Straight from the horse’s mouth so to speak
Like I said in post yesterday, He was in Morrisons doing a bit of shopping, he looked normal & I was within ear shot as a bloke asked him "how are you"? to which he replied I'm fine thanks or somthing along those lines.
Why should the club tell us anything? Confuses me as to why folk expect a football club to be an open book. Customers of the company I work for don't get to know anything about the running of the business. I know nothing about my local corner shop or Greggs, or a million other companies and I wouldn't expect to. Folk are weird.
Folk like to think of themselves as more than customers when it comes to a football club, which I think is fair in some respects. But let's not get above our station and expect to know everything that goes on. As others have said, it's not like we don't know how he is.
Barton doesn't look at all worried about what could be coming his way....... https://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/news/joey-barton-back-fleetwood-training-14343434
Fleetwood are in no immediate rush to discipline Barton, with club sources casting doubt on the veracity of at least some of the allegations. One told Telegraph Sport that “80 per cent” of claims were inaccurate and that the truth will “come out in the wash”. From football news 24 online
Folk don't want to know how the business is run they want to know how someone is. If I heard someone was assaulted in my corner shop or Greggs where I went regularly I'd want to know how they were.
Pretty clear from Fleetwoods stance that the club is ran with no morals imagine taking your kids along to watch a club managed by an animal. Joke of a club. Feel sorry for their fans more than anything.
Read his response on Facebook then. The guy himself has come out and said he's fine. Stop badgering the club for info that's already been provided.
If some how he stays in management surely Barnsley would ban him for life from Oakwell as a bare minimum. I aint sure how this would work, would the FA support this or would we have to let him in? I don't think it has ever happened has it that a manager has been banned from a football ground?
