Even Thiam?!?? Complete passenger today. We might as well have played with 10 men.

McGeehan had a decent game today.

I felt he had to come deeper trying to dictate play - as Jackson wasn’t as comfortable bringing the ball up to halfway as Pinnock and Lindsay are, and as we aren’t at our fluent best he’s working harder showing for the ball and starting plays.

He wasn’t great, Mowatt a bit better, but he was more effective than Woodrow today, and especially Thiam.

Surprised at a few posts in this thread, I thought he was excellent today - a real driving force in the team and links with Mowatt

A severe understanding of how to play football based on today’s evidence. I’m still sure he’s won a raffle.

Agreed he needs a rest I think - he’s still a young lad and played a lot of matches maybe that’s it

Thiam was a passenger today, lacking any drive or energy. I'd have taken him off at half time.

I thought McGeehan was ok, certainly not his best game but still decent.

Me too. Was quite surprised he stayed on as long as he did. I’d have put Hedges on at half time too and I definitely would start Hedges at Plymouth.

I agree, Except that great pass he put across the area and mcgeehan hit the bar when it was easier to score

Thought he did okay personally today. Always the chance of sneaking a goal. With him and Mowatt in a midfield two, one of them has to remain relatively deep som of the time else we'll be all over the shop.

Harsh that. Previous performances show he can play football and on many occasions in earlier games he has terrified the opposition down the left side,-not to mention those couple of screamers when he has cut inside. What has happened to those? He just seems out of sorts at the moment and lost his mojo.

I don't think that it was the sending off that has forced a change in his performance, but rather the injury to Dougall. With Kenny as holding midfielder, it freed McGeehan to get forwards with confidence and he is less able to do that now, as he and Mowatt have more of a holding role.
