I play FIFA 19 on the Xbox I'm looking to start a career mode with Barnsley (for the 66447433 time) What formation do people use? Who do you sign/sell?
Just my personal choice this but I favour the 3-5-2 with some tweaks on the player instructions settings; so I have 3 CB, 2 DMF 1LM, 1 CAM, 1 RM and then 2 ST. If you use the training mode I improve Dani and Dimi’s attacking attributes and any other fullbacks you buy and make them very good wide midfielders and get them to drop back when defending making it a 5 man defence In defensive situations but then we switch quickly on attacking getting numbers forward. Whoever I play in the middle at CAM I leave forward on attacks and give them a free role, try and get Cauley to make runs in behind and Keef to play to feet as a hold up man that’s pretty much it I think.
I play online seasons and play the default 442 but mess with the tactics, depth 5, width 5. Wingers to come back on the defence, one CM to stay back whilst attacking, right and left back to get forward. Moore as target man and Woodrow mixed attack. Also play balanced on both the other settings as they end up knackered if you have them to press. Worked well for me as I’m in division one
I always struggle to find a decent back up CDM for Dougall, a centre back & a striker under the age of 25 at championship level
Depends what your budgets are but have a look at Sandro Tonali at Brescia, he’s 18 and around 73 rated but goes on to be 93.
