Why is it piss poor if they haven't been paid?

Whats it really achieving with the season almost over?

Lack of respect to their own fans and Brentfords.

He agreed a deal with Ken Anderson, unfortunately Mr Anderson then moved the goalposts and now wants to stay on as a director.

So Bolton players are scum for not playing and not getting paid but Lloyd deserves every penny despite not kicking a ball all season. Hmmmmm.

And it's the genuine Bolton staff i feel for.

The cleaners the groundsmen and admin staff and caterers and the tea ladies.

Overpaid footballers will get another job.

Seems like we finally may see the demise of a former top flight club. Difficult to see how they come back from this situation.

They can't be allowed to get away with calling games off. Their punishment will be points deduction at the start of next season, I reckon. If they are still around by then. I can't see how they get through the summer with no income stream. Who's gonna buy a ST given that the club may well be gone before the first game of the new season?

Said for a long time that it needs clubs to fold to bring some sanity to the financial side of the game. Still sad when, if, it comes to pass.

You want to read some of the players stories before making your opinions known.. these aren’t millionaire footballers they have mortgages and bills to pay like everyone else.. I’m sure you’d turn everyday to your job after months of not being paid!! Get a grip!!

So why should the Bolton players play if their wages have been withheld?

    Apologies.

I think I have spoken out of turn..

Should have vented it to Ken.Anderson and not the players.

I take back what i said and was wrong.

The bigger picture is the players are making a stand.

    This
Probably most of them are there through loyalty and lack of alternatives. Football aside it is disgusting that a business is allowed to continue to trade whilst either not paying or continuously delaying payments.

    Fair enough, mate.

At the end of the day, legally they could have all walked out of the club and become free agents back in Ferbruary when they weren't paid for 21 days.

They have on multiple occasions threatened not to play, until non-playing staff at the club have been paid, putting them before themselves.

This is their last opportunity to make a stand and hopefully get the FA/EFL to step in finally. I suspect none of them will be at Bolton next season, anyway, which suggests to me that this action is not for themselves, but for the club.

It's the bigger picture that matters.

    Hopefully the Brentford folk understand.

Don't wish to see a club go under as it means genuine staff losing their jobs.

It’s about the fans and back room staff.

I hate Bolton for their financial recklessness, but I don’t blame most of the fans or back-room staff. At the end of the day, the FA want to protect the Town of Bolton to ensure they still have a football club to support.

As a Barnsley fan, in this scenario I’d want the FA to be lenient on us too - no one wants to lose their hometown club.

I thought the fa were supplementing their wages (since around december) has that now passed?
Imho I have run out of patience. The EFL and FA have to take some grief here for ratifying all their daftness, also football agents for letting players join them.
Anderson was as joke (still is) and so is the new guy.
Sorry banned from all transfers for 2 years and 12 points deducted for start of next season........now will the message go out to other clubs on how to run a club.
Still angers me about QPR and brum...grrrrr.

And the players have been paying expenses to the junior sides to get to and from training.

New guy (is it Cassini?) now saying he is going to pay the players and get the game on.
Anderson has frozen club accounts....so it's coming out of his own money!
    What an absolute joke.
