Because he probably gets on really well with his team mates and likes our fans so still wants us to go up.
I’m really confused here is he scared of flying or did he refuse because he had monk on or what, I’m baffled about it all really, I thought we flew to Plymouth and got the bus back, but didn’t someone say he didn’t travel, so he must have refused because we were flying or something?
They get a coach to the airport, hope that puts the flew or went by coach argument to bed. I've also had it confirmed something went off before, at the ground before travelling.
Reasons why Cavare might not get on a bus: No loo. No seat belts. Told to sit next to Mama. Cavare is in the EFL team of the year. This brouhaha does not happen by mistake. We have these press conferences - some of us pay to see them - why do we not get answers? e.g. did KM end up with a fractured skull? (not that the diagnosis does owt more than settle a few arguments on here)
I might be wrong on this and if so please forgive me, but isn't his contract up at the end of the season with an option for a further year in the clubs favour? If thats the case then he has to accept it on the wages we offer. we can of course re sign him and immediately sell him on if that is the case. If I'm correct then hte club being quiet over any instances may be due to that scenario, although saying he'll never play for us again will make them look very weak if we can't find a buyer and he's just signed a new contract. L1 team of the year may be used as a sales tool in this instance. Hope this makes sense, been up since 4:30 am for work and now a bit pissed. lol
Because it’s private club business, handled internally, and making it common knowledge would do nothing whatsoever to assist in our ongoing promotion push? Or does your desire to know everything outshine the greater good for the club? It sounds like he’s done something a tad deplorable, and is rightly being punished for it.
This. If we want to bomb him out I fully expect us to nevertheless extend his contract so we can get a fee.
Have they though? If so, yes. All I know about the ‘incident’ is what I’ve read on here though, I’m not sure they’ve leaked anything much.
He was careful not to say what just actual head injury was on radio Dee dar before the game. And tbh its not really anybody's business but his. All the fans need to know is hes fully fit. I asked him on Weds and he said everything is fine and as it should be, no lasting damage.
Logic would suggest he kicked off at been out of the side. He was an unused sub in two consecutive games & then he disappeared from the squad between Friday & Monday games where I can’t imagine there was any serious training done in such a short space of time. Shame if true as Stendel stood by him back in November - December time when he had a really bad run of form
This would be my guess. Lost his place and kicked off about going down to Plymouth when he knew he wouldn’t be starting or used. If it was a fear of flying etc, then he could have been driven down by someone - and I don’t think the club would have acted in this way. Either way, I expect the club to extend his contract and look to sell on over the summer if the situation doesn’t change. I hope it does change.
You’ve nailed it there. I like Cavare but to kick off in that manner at this stage of the season is a strange attitude to have.
