Anyone else think Williams is from the same mould as Tripper??

A think we’ve got a right player on our hands here

Literally, including the same strange shaped head!

Joking aside, he has been absolutely superb since he came into the side. Has looked very accomplished, especially considering he's only 19.

Considering he's a former England youth international, and the fact that we're almost certainly going to be in the same division next season, I reckon letting him go was very short-sighted of Huddersfield. Not that I'm complaining!

Doesn’t have the strength yet that Trippier had. But he can improve that.

That was my main (albeit small) concern yesterday - got pushed off the ball a little easily at times.

A lot of there fans seemed bewildered why they’d let him go, I honestly can see him playing in Premiership in next 5 years, he reads the game very well, not afraid to get stuck in and bombs down the like like a winger, a top asset on our hands

Williams > (ie Greater than) Trippier? Don't think so....yet. Had an excellent game yesterday though.

Trippier far more Tigerish in the tackle. Not knocking Williams though, he’s done well since playing there.

Jordan Williams is better than Dimitri Cavare

A bit early to judge, but he certainly hasn't looked any worse so far. However, Cavare really offers us something different going forward. He's quite a unique player, and if the rumours are true that he's not going to be playing for us again, I'd be quite disappointed by that.

I think he's the ability to play higher up the pitch as he progresses.

If the rumours are right it does sound like Cavare's days are numbered. I like him, and with Williams, it'd be nice to have two right backs like them next season.

Too soon to draw comparisons with Trippier, but he's a good prospect and will no doubt get stronger and more savvy with games.

Bearing in mind the quandaries we've had with full backs at times this season, plus the fact that the Championship is such an unforgiving league, you're absolutely spot on. We're going to need quality all over the pitch, and quality in reserve as well if we're to thrive.

Williams was on his last legs for the final 10. Was wishing we had DC on the bench at the time. JD's strength will develop tho. Hope Cav and the club can resolve things should rumours be true as he would be needed.
