Article in the Chronicle dated 26 the April, confirms that Adam Davies hasn't been offered a new deal and that as far as he is concerned, he doesn't want to discuss anything contractually until the close season. Daniel wants him to stay, but like some others have said, I think he might move on. If he does, there's not a lot we can do about it really, save for thanking him for his involvement in our Johnstone Paints Trophy win and without wishing to tempt fate, hopefully two promotions from League One. https://www.barnsleychronicle.com/article/boss-hopes-davies-signs-new-contract
Well this escalated.. for all the people saying "lighten up and enjoy the day" etc etc I'm ecstatic that we are where we are. But I couldn't give a toss about testing ourselves against higher opposition in a bigger league. I'll support the reds whether they're playing Man City or Mansfield town.. Promotion excites me because there's a better chance we'll keep all our best players, which is exactly how I (and I'm sure we all) felt last time. I just hope that the board can learn from past mistakes. Although obviously players/club will be waiting to see what league were in before making offers/accepting offers etc
