Thatchers sounds like the stand to avoid if you're picking a home stand...... http://gaschat.co.uk/post/505357/thread Be careful.
Loads of folk going in the Bristol end. South West Stand. Seats over terrace as that's where you tend to get a calmer set of supporters.
https://purchase.tickets.com/buy/TicketPurchase They don't have a map as good as ours so we have no way of knowing how close to a sell out it is.
Just got mine on line. Thank god for my mother in law who lives in Stroud. It wouldn't accept my payment with my Barnsley address. I'm in the poplar insulation stand so hoping a few more might get tickets in there. Thought there might be less bother in there when I start screaming foul mouthed abuse at the ref.....which has a certain inevitability about it......particularly when the opposition keeper starts time wasting!
I've heard over 700 Reds Fans in the home end so far - and that was before results on Saturday. I know around 15/20 with tickets bought
Did you print ticket at home, was it the billing address that stopped it? Just wondering if Bristol have put something in place since the weekend as people seem to have managed it previously
is it wise keeping this post up? expecially with talk of 700+ fans in bristol ends. i think we'd all be gutted if they decided to audit ticket sales
Same conversation on Twitter (that's where the 700 came from), but I guess it's for people to realise the risk themselves unless someone else from admin takes this down. I'm sure Bristol will be welcome of the additional ticket revenue being honest. Might have been different if they had anything to play for.
I reckon they might have. I put my ardsley address on as I understood that others hadn't had a problem and the message came up as "Regional Validation Error".
When my daughter tried to get a ticket in the home stand at Burnley the guy asked if she was really a hone fan because if she was a Barnsley fan he had an away ticket! I reckon as long as people are sensible there spykdbt be any comeback.
