The usual about talks in the summer. When pressed as to if he wants to stay avoided answering unlike Bahre who seemed very keen.

Looking at his body language and what he says looks to me like he’s off. Wouldn’t surprise me if already got a deal in the pipeline elsewhere.

Yes, my thoughts too. Can't blame him TBH. Will be down to whether he wants to be a guaranteed starter here, or happy to be second choice at a big club, who could offer him triple what we are likely to. As others have said, one injury / loss of form & he gets a chance at being no1 at a big club.

I definitely would not blame him if he goes but I'm still hoping he stays. I'm not reading too much into the interview at this stage.

If he does decide his future lies elsewhere then I'm pretty sure he won't be short of takers.

Sounds like he's off from that, can't blame him his stock may never be higher than it is right now.

Don’t get how people reckon Davies is off from that, yes he wasn’t full of enthusiasm like Mike but all he’s done is send a message out to the club saying make me an offer.

Adam Davies on his future: "I don't know (If I'll still be here).
Q: Do you want to be here? A: "Hopefully. Let's just enjoy the momment and see what happens."

It's the hopefully part to the question do you want to be here.
But you are right things can change.

He could hardly say no I don't want to be here though. Maybe he was just being very careful with his words but he used the past tense "loved".

Exactly he was very diplomatic and danced round the question like a politician. Very professional actually

I don't blame him one bit. He's probably very aware of the treatment he got, the last time we were in the Championship

surely hopefully is more of a yes than a no? Still think he is saying to the club make an offer

Hopefully would be the answer to "do you think you will be here"
He was asked "do you WANT to be here"
Hopefully is a strange answer to that question and suggests he hasn't decided at best.

He’s our captain! We seem to have a habit of our captains leaving as soon as we do well! There’d be nothing to stop him from saying “I want to stay here”. It must still be a possibility because surely we’d have sold him in January? I hope he stays but, if he goes, Ixfords Simon Eastwood was on our radar before

Like to see him stay, but my reading is that's he's off and already most likely got something lined up. Remember we had similar situation with Brownhill when he was asked if he wanted to sign permanently for the Reds, but had already a deal worked out with Bristol. Perhaps Adam does indeed want new surroundings and is fed up with seeing teammates go off and earn big bucks elsewhere, even if it's only for seating on a bench.

Prem team for a lot more money than we’d be able to offer if the rumours are correct

Could well be - if that’s the case, he may need to practice watching from the bench - good luck to him
