Sorry to be that guy that asks all of the stupid questions, but....

I want to know how to watch live from outside the UK and/or what service I would need to watch replay footage. I arrive in New Zealand 04/08/19 with the new 2019/20 season starting on Saturday 05/08/19 (if you didn't know already).

I want to know if it is realistic to hope to be able to watch the games a few hours after they finish (NZ is GMT + 12h = BST + 11h - meaning Saturday games finish 04.00 approx., New Zealand time, and I would hope to watch them at, say, 07.00). Are games available to watch as replays within hours of the match end, or is it next day (for example)?

I literally can't make out what the situation would be from this: https://www.barnsleyfc.co.uk/ifollow/subscribe/ - it doesn't actually tell you any of that, but I keep hearing on here that if you're "out of the UK" you can "watch live" - but as I say, I don't really understand whether that's with a UK account, or does it actually need to be an overseas-based account? Is it with a £10 per match payment, or is it part of the basic subscription service if you're out of the UK?

Also if you are UK-based but watching from overseas, and you pay £10 for a "Match Pass", do you have to literally "watch live" (like 02.00 - 04.00 in New Zealand) or can you watch a few hours later on playback?

Do you need to pay £10? Would a standard account permit playback within a few hours, or does it even work live, if out of the UK??

Sorry for all of the questions - if anyone knows how to achieve what I'm hoping to achieve it would be appreciated!!

I was able to watch a Saturday 3pm game live whilst in Portugal last year, using my normal UK account. However, when trying to watch last week’s match from ‘America’ I had to sign up for an entirely new account and pay in local currency.

Not sure how long you have to wait for match replays. At least 24 hours I think.

Match pass is £5 from outside of the UK, a standard account doesn't let you watch live.

I think replays are available (never tried to be honest. I can't watch a full match when I already know the result). NOt sure how long after the end of the game they become available

Providing the rules next season remain the same as the one just finished you should be able to watch the games live. Per above cost for this was £5/ match. I’m not sure if this then covers you to watch the videos or not. The standard subscription is not much though. Merde Tete is based overseas I believe- He maybe able to advise you

I've watched two games this season live in Italy. Downloaded the clubs ifollow app on my phone. All very straightforward to order the match pass- same as over here.
Think you'll have to watch live at 5am Sunday morning or summink.

I live in Denmark and pay about 120 quid for the season and get to watch every match bar those that SKY see fit to show. The service is pretty good these days and mostly reliable. The season before was a lot more hit and miss although I was grateful for anything. It is very basic camera work with just the one camera and no replays etc but now has commentary at least usually with someone with a bfc connection, big Trev, Barnard etc. The match is usually uploaded the next day in full or highlights format. For all it's faults it is the best money I spend all year and is an absolute godsend.
