Wednesday at 6:30 pm FFS !!! Week ahead weather forecast - so the club chooses one of the coldest wettest days recorded in the month of May - ever. Who made the crazy decision to have this event when they did and why !?!?! What’s up with this coming Saturday at 3 o’clock??? Weather is going to be fine. Lots of people can have a day off work to attend. I went to the last promotion party and there seemed to be at least double of what was present at this one. Disappointing that the club made a poor decision about this.
Why? Would you want an holiday if you just played football? I think if I played football for a few hours a day and someone said that I had to take an holiday - I would be embarrassed about taking it. Anyway that’s getting away from the point. Who made the daft decision to have the promotion parade at a time and with weather like this?
Why didnt they have the award dinner tonight instead. There was only about 100 folk there anyway. Even the box holders didnt get an invite which is scandalous in itself.
I'm retired. I'll just let the missis know we can't have any more holidays as I'd be embarrassed to take em.
If you come on here in the middle of the night you can sometimes hear ghostly footsteps and someone muttering things like "Mr A Yiadom" and "the German"
Nudger pack it in. The football’s finished you can’t moan about that anymore, so you now move on to open top bus celebration. What a bag of bleeding laughs you are.
Not only that but the fact that a person (and presumably their partner and/or kids) might want a holiday in the 15 years they’ll be playing football. I can imagine the conversation in Davies’ house this week: ‘Not this year, or any year for the foreseeable future, Ms Davies and Davies Junior, I’d be too embarrassed to go on holiday with you, I’ve only caught a few footballs all year, you go alone’. ‘But Daddy...’ ‘No, no, no what would Young Nudger think?’
Yes. Nice one. We’re all proud of you and your hypothetical moral compass Not sure. Could have been anyone. Could have been the council, maybe they didn’t want to close the main road through the town centre at 3 on a Saturday. Imagine that. I suggest you won’t get an answer of a fans forum though. This isn’t an official club communication channel. You seem confused about that.
Sheff utd did theirs Tues eve. Unfortunately you cant control the weather. I thought it was a good turnout and more importantly so did the players. As an aside, it really does help your quality of life to see some positives.
YN and Jay serving out disapprobation left and right. Nothing new there. It’s probably quite cold and wet up on that moral high ground too.
