    Apologises for my abuse. I am a barnaley fan. My family all liverpool fans bar me and my old man. I aint actually that bothered about lfc not winning it, they have been bridesmaids alot in last 10 or 15 years.

    There recruitment & sales have been incredible over the past few years, if people look at the fees they’ve got for bang average players like Jordan Ibe they’d be shocked

    Just had radio on in car. Apparently city only made one signing this season.

    Whilst I agree that some teams spend more than others, getting the right players to fit the coaches system is easier said than done.

    Most Liverpool fans I know are proud of what they have done this year - similar to us in a lot of ways - record points , some brilliant performances along the way . No disgrace losing to that City side. Also have the European Champions League final - not bad for a terrible season !!

    Difference is mate. You live in Liverpool and mix with genuine local supporters.

    The rest of us have to suffer the others, and in my case, that's why I don't like Liverpool.

    I know a young lad who supports Barnsley but was born and brought up in Norwich. His dad's from Barnsley and brought his lads up over there.

    I'm sure Liverpool and the rest of the big clubs will have similar links to people that have moved away etc, but not as many as they would have you think.

    Bang on. I said this a lot a while back when a lot of Man Utd fans were criticising City for spending big money on defenders, Stones, Laporte, Walker & Mendy etc. Surely it’s better to buy one top player for each position than do what Man Utd have done which is just sign any big name available they can over the last 5 years or so which is why they’ve ended up with Di Maria, Mata, Kagawa, Fellaini, Pogba etc & there’s probably more that all want to play the no. 10 position yet they’re lacking in other areas.

    I thought I was the only Norwich born Barnsley fan! 18 years and counting in Yorkshire though so I think my allegiance is getting there.

    Yeah, young Tom and his brother both from over there but his brother supports Norwich City.

    I seem to remember talking to a reds fan from Norwich after beating MK Dons at their place in the cup.

    Man city pjay as a team unlike Man u who have a bunch of individuals. Though I did feel for Foden when he scored his first goal and no ove rushed to celebrate with him. Contrast that to Bahre getting ragged all over! Having said that, was it de Silva that gave him his MOTM award afterwards?
