    Sunderland had them this year.

    Neither Norwich or Sheffield United did.

    It’s not overly fair - but it’s not insurmountable. If we did get back to the premier league at any point, and ended up being relegated, we wouldn’t turn them down.

    I appreciate they can be a pain for anyone travelling a distance, but am I alone in liking midweek games? One of the things I disliked about L1 was the lack of them. Tuesday night games under the Oakwell floodlights have always felt a bit special to me.

    Funny that I remember last time in this divison it been 38 quid Leeds and Wednesday 30 bramhall lane 42 QPR even Huddersfield was 30 last time but they have their home fans cheap tickets and split the stand.

    I must have been sitting just behind you as I had a similar view but about 8 rows back - in fact I think I might even have been a few seats further left. It was extremely annoying
    but not as annoying as the ref giving a penalty to them just because he can

    So at least seven teams will be getting them next season, possibly nine. Bloody annoying.

    But I take the point made by @troff that they're not the be all and end all. I guess we'll just have to do what Sheff Utd did.
