    I thought this concussion rule was a minimum of two weeks out yet Salah got took off hurt 8 days ago. Explain anyone ??

    I think it's to do with how you respond to tests.

    There's concussion and there's Premiership concussion.
    They are a self governing autocracy with little or no mind for the rest.

    The default is 14 days, but it can be lowered under certain conditions. I believe for starters there has to have been a recent brain scan from before the injury, which can be compared to the one following the concussion.

    Concussion guidelines are from the FA, so they affect PL, EFL and beyond.

    Pretty sure in rugby league the protocol is you can’t play for 7 days once you fail a head test. Not sure what football protocol is, but assumed it was 7 days

    14 days, according to FA guidelines, unless in an 'enhanced care setting' when it can be lowered, but this requires (among other things) brain scans from before the injury.

    My guess is big brown envelope and vegas holiday for medical team.
