It's going to have dual tenants too as London Irish will be playing rugby on it.

Looks quality, a different design from the boring Keepmoat, King Power etc... a bit like the NY with sloping roofs. All closed in so it will create a great atmosphere, probably attract new families and they'll have an average gate over 15k. Matchday income will more than double with the new facilities so more money for the matchday squad.

We're gradually getting left behind with Oakwell.

It's not always a good thing ground sharing (ask Coventry fans) I think Oakwell is fit for purpose for now.

I wouldn't fancy ground sharing either Helen. I can even stand the West Stand from inside the ground. But outside, it's absolutely dire. It screams run down and third rate to me.

I think the Blackpool and Sunderland games shows it isnt, we'll have bigger crowds next season that we'll have to limit the home support to 13/14k

Some games not all will be sold out I think grounds with loads of empty seats like at Sunderland in the playoff look embarrassing.

The home end only holds 14k with half the west shut, we averaged 12500 this season with barely any away fans, crowds are on the increase I'm guessing Leeds, Hudders, Weds, Villa/Derby..for starters will see the home ends sold out with half a west stand.

Love it. I'm a big fan of Luton's planned new stadium too, and hope it goes ahead. They've given it a hat!

Yes, some games will be sold out AND with loads of empty seats - we do need to act now or we’ll lose out on so much income.

Shouldn't clubs build stadia that reflect likely attendances rather than building 50,000 seaters for 10,000 home fans?
