    Thanks for all the replies. I’m going to offer on it on Monday. Noticed a few have mentioned lady Croft the house I’m going for is on Burtop Croft which is just round the corner

    My mate ( Big Barnsley fan ) ex hoylander lives on that street. Next doors a Miller so they don't talk *. Nice quiet street. Till my mate moved there .*

    No way mate. Always pissed me off the amount of wensdays lives round our way. To be honest, half my family are wensdays, even my younger brother is a season ticket holder at the sty but no, always a red.. and always be.

    Is Gedney's scrap yard still there?

    I used to live on Hallsworth Avenue (Just down from cemetery) which was a bit like no man's land as the Jumpers said it was Hemingfield and Hemingfielders said it was Jump.

    We get a lot of Wednesdayers moving into Elsecar cos its cheaper than sheffield but still a bit closer to sheffield. Theres loadsa pig fans round ere and Leeds fans to be honest, but reds fans are the majority and anybody with a reds shirt on usually gets a 'u reds' from the normal inhabitants, certainly from me. Were all wearing our shirts with pride this summer

    Allus been jumpers for me mate. ( Don't tell Owens the not jumpers unless of course your one of em. :)) bridge separates em not cemetery. Mr Davies ( good school when I was a nipper) headmaster at Jump.
    Edit might have made a mistake with Owens could have been Preston avenue they lived on.

    making me nostagic, here. even though I thought that there wasn't anything beyond dove cliff... it just became wombwell wood and that was the end of the universe.
    I'll make a point of visiting those three pubs in early august.

    Gedneys is a cul de sac of houses Tats. That chippy is run by a fowl aint it, nice chips but a bit tight on the portions, thought the fish would be MASSIVE but they aren`t.
