Good luck to him, hope it works out! He was always a professional, never complained (at least externally) and was there to step in when called upon. Unlucky to be up against two defenders in the form of their life or he probably would've been a regular starter.
That’s a good coup for Hibs imo I thought he’d be bottom end championship after a run of games . Might be the making if him going to Hibs .
Mixed feelings on this. Good for us, in that would we offload a centre back if there was any intention to sell Pinnock or Lindsay? Hopefully not. But Hecky knows this lad well, so knows he is getting a good pro who trains well with a brilliant attitude and ability. So, sad to see him go, because I have rarely seen him put a foot wrong for us, when called upon, but pleased to see him make a move that will likely see him be a first team starter. Good luck Adam and all the best for your future.
Should do well in the Scottish Premiership. The game up there might suit the way he's used to playing and how Hecky intends to use him. Good servant for the Reds when he got a game that is, but given that footballers thrive on playing regularly, probably it is best for him to move on.
Next time someone runs into Hecky can they ask him how he managed to scout Jackson and sign him if he didn’t have any input on signings?
Any input on Hibs signings? Anyway, he seems to have a better job than the Barnsley one if he can entice away players that we ought to be keeping.
The hibs interviewer who interviews Jackson actually states Paul heckingbottom came and watched you intensively while you were at hartlepool. He had alot more input then some on here would like to belive.
Good luck to the lad, hope he does well up there. I'd like to think the club has one or two players targeted as a replacement.
A move that makes sense for both parties... Jackson will probably get regular football which he needs, whilst Hibernian get a very capable defender who should comfortably perform at that level. The move seems right. We'll need to recruit a quality back up defender though now as Jackson provided pretty assured, if not spectacular, cover for injuries or suspensions.
