Weak as a very weak cuddly kitten.

Have these England players ever seen each other before?

How people think Gareth Southgate is a good manager is beyond me....

Nothing like a knee jerk reaction.

He has the pick of the best in England - and like all the rest since Ramsey he can’t put a team together.
    The England team is embarrassing.
And it’s not as though we haven’t got the players.

Not brave enough unfortunately. We have the players with pace to play a pressing style IMO and we spent half the game backing off and defending deep. How Alexander-Arnold didn't get a look in I'll never know. 13 PL assists this year, he's a great prospect who could be fantastic over the next few years and Gareth chose to stick with Walker rather than reward an amazing club season.

Yep - a knee reaction that’s been jerking since 1966.

He's not been the boss since 66 though has he? Just taken us to a World Cup semi last year, and we lose one game and he's not good enough?

Sounds pretty knee jerk to me.

I honestly think International football is a waste of everyone's time. I don't think I'd give .03% of a **** if it was killed off.

Yes, by having the easiest route ever... then losing to a mediocre Croatia team. He was clueless on how to play against them. He made poor decisions, and was lauded for what he’d done. Joke.

Trent should have started - would have pushed their midfield back a bit more.

Nah can't agree with a lot of that. Croatia were a fantastic team during the world cup and had several stand out players, think you're being a bit harsh on them.

We finished where we deserved to, for once.

We also deserved to lose tonight.
Southgate has done well with what he has but tonight was a return to all that was bad when he first took over.
Our midfield looked woeful and if course too many players made individual errors, just glad we didn't play a good side.

Win, win, win. Thing is when you lose a world cup semi final....
Unless your Gernany or Brazil you've wasted that chance.

You're thinking when are they gunna be that crap again?

We lost to Croatia...we've bossed alot of tonight but we weren't good enough.

    We were *****.

Croatia were not great, as shown by their final performance....

If instead of putting on more defensive players when losing with a few minutes left of the wc semi, he may have just gone for it. Maybe if he’d put more players with pace to run at their slow defence, I’d agree with you.

He has good players, but still plays players like Harry Kane, who is clearly unfit and off the pace...

Alexander Arnold, stand out player of Liverpool’s team, why isn’t he playing?

    Fabian Delph... before Henderson...

    Simple decisions that were wrong.

We made Holland look good last night because we sat deep and let them have the ball for 40 minutes after we'd scored.
When the scores were level we were far more progressive and created chances. That said the Dutch were the better side.
John Stones - I never watch the prem but every time he wears an England shirt he worries me. He's a good footballer but always has a major mistake in him.
The thing is that part of that is also at Southgate's door. Walker and Maguire also made catastrophic errors last night because he insists on playing the ball around our penalty area.
Kane I'm giving the benefit of the doubt to in terms of fitness but I'm seriously beginning to wonder if he can deliver against the best. I know he's got 22 goals but go on wiki and look who most of them have been against. In the closing stages of the World Cup he was ineffective.
I've not seen us win a cup since 1966. I wanted us to win this one. What was the point in leaving big players on the bench? I'm not a massive fan of Henderson or Alli in particular but they have big game experience. Alexander Arnold should have started. I switched the game on just as they were kicking off and couldnt believe the team.

Well that's my perspective. I'm sure others won't share it but last night was an opportunity missed. If we can beat Spain we should have been capable of beating that Dutch team.

Didn't respect our opponents enough. Thought we could beat them without starting any of the champions league players. It's backfired.

Bobby Robson and Terry Venables both put good teams together. A bit of penalty practice and history may have been different.
