LDRed (remember him) sent me this information and asked me to post it on his behalf. A day ticket for the trains to/from the airports to Bielefeld from Bahn.com will cost the following: 1 person travelling: EUR 44 2 persons travelling: EUR 52 3 persons travelling: EUR 60 4 persons travelling: EUR 68 5 persons travelling: EUR 76
It's not daft cos it's €44 for 1 person n €53 for 2 which is split between them not per person. So the more that travel the cheaper it is. So it's €76 split 5 ways - simplest
But it's still cheaper than what you'd pay in the UK for a return ticket. Your match ticket also entitles you to free travel on the train, tram or bus on match day to and from the game.
Its40 quid for a fifty minute journey. 23 quid day return manchester. 7 quid chesterfield. 11 quid Nottingham etc if ya on the ball
Hope someone at the club is looking to organise a coach trip via Hull - Rotterdam. Approx 3.5 hours from Rotterdam to Paderborn which is only about 10 miles from either match. Just a thought.
About 12 hours on a train. Sheffield to St Pancras being the first leg. Can road trip it in 12 hours via France, Belgium and Netherlands.
It's €44 for unlimited travel throughout Germany until 3am the next day. The more that travel the cheaper...like buying owt in bulk I'm sure if you go you will be travelling with someone, if not just make friends with someone when you get there. €28 by slow train (2.5hrs) from Dusseldorf or €40 a bit quicker (2hrs or less). The €28 is a regional ticket for unlimited travel till 3am next day for North Rhine Westphalia where Bielefeld is so covers that Region. Hannover is Lower Saxony so the journey to Bielefeld crosses into a different region, hence having to buy a different ticket. Hannover return is 40 quid-ish at set times...hence those prices and options.
Yes it saves you a couple of quid to leeds u don't get any duo treble or whatever going out of the network area.
