Lindsay Pinnock Thiam Moore Is it just a coincidence that one of those players has gone ??? And for the measly sum of just £2 million ???
It's not rocket science the owners said if a player reaches the last year of his contract and won't sign another he will be sold. Thiam, Cameron,Lindsay and pinnock are all on their last year. If they don't sign I think they will be sold.
If we pay £5K pw max and bigger Championship rivals will gladly pay £15K+ then anyone will be gone. It's how ready we are with the next wave of recruits that will determine our progress. I can't see we will divert to signing ready-made replacements.
Orville the big green bird also told me Lindsay was going to leave (not that he has yet). Really makes you think.
It's blindingly obvious that one or more of those four will leave to anyone who has a brain in their head and has read the REPEATED explanations of the club's policy.
If we have 20 players in the first team squad and they are on 3 or 4 year contracts and we’re working on paying sustainable salaries not daft ones, and we move players on if they have a year left and won’t sign, then we will have up to 5 leave each summer won’t we? The difference being that we should get something reasonable for them, unlike losing Brownhill, Fletcher and Isgrove last time because they were on loan and Mawson before the end of August and only getting something for Mawson. It’s just the way it is and unless Stendel and the Board have lost the plot in the last few weeks they will be planning and recruiting accordingly.
Ah, I get it. So if we contract a player for two years, we’re really giving him a year and for three years, it’s a two year contract. Seems fair. In addition we’ll sell someone when they become too old at 26, and won’t sign anyone over the age of 24. I look forward to our new transfer policy of not signing anyone without an identifiable Yorkshire accent, or any Sun readers. Well, actually that last one ........
Yep. Like it or lump it that's the policy. It keeps us solvent frustrating as it is on a regular basis.
Histrionic personality disorder, or HPD, is a disorder characterized by emotional overreactions and outbursts, attention-seeking behaviors, and a tendency to over-dramatize things. A person with histrionic personality disorder feels the need to be the center of attention at all times. They are often upset when they are not. A person with HPD has strong difficulties when people are not focused on them. Also, they may use seductive and provocative behavior to draw attention to themselves. ...Sound familiar?
He mentioned those by name. Something on the lines of - they (Barnsley) are paying higher wages now - but Lindsay, Pinnock, Thiam and Moore are still likely to leave.
