Everyone connected with the club knows the transfer policy. Whose next? If they don't sign new deals. Mcgeehan, Pinnock, Thiam could quite easily be sold.

I'd just like to say that Woodrow is an excellent replacement for Bradshaw and Bahre has class. If Dougall had stayed fit we wouldn't be even bothered about Mcgeehan.

Not a disaster by a long chalk. I'll back the board to bring in the right players.

Not sure if I've got summat wrong Conan re your replies. But we've spent 70+ yrs in the second tier. Not continuously obviously.
    1898 to 1932 - war years (30yrs) continuously
1981 to present (30yrs) in total
    Other stints (16yrs)1932/81
    76 in total

No, he meant to say we hadn't spent sixty years below the second tier which was my assertion. However, I didn't check my first thought in that respect and it's more like thirty. I thought we'd spent more years in the old Division Three North.

Easy mistake to make, 130 odd years in existence, we all know we’ve spent 70 odd in tier 2 and 1 in tier 1. Simple maths leaves about 60. Its the war time breaks that ruin the maths, as I’m sure you now realise.

    Great invention autocorrect.

Gives you an excuse for any situation.

Not wrong. But I think it’s necessary on phones, even on my large screen phone I make a lot of mistakes when typing with my thumbs, which all get fixed automatically. Recon I would be completely incomprehensible from my phone without it. Not due to lack of ability to spell, but just from fat finger-ing the buttons. Spell check rarely kicks in on my computer, so I must be decent at spelling... (or it’s broken...)

Can I just say, I love the irony of the opening post here turning into a spell check / autocorrect debate...

You're right. That's exactly what I did. Serves me right for firing from the hip. :)

We got Pinnock, Robert's, Houriane, Winnall, to name a few from teams below us in the leagues, the fans of these clubs would have thought the same about there players leaving, as some of our fans do " where is the loyalty " etc, but the reality is we are not the ceiling of where they see themselves, just as FGR,Halifax, Plymouth, Scunthorpe were not seen as a ceiling before joining us, and lets face it the wage gap from ourselves to Stoke will be much bigger than ourselves to the teams mentioned at the start, very few players at any level show loyalty to a certain club anymore, money in most cases can buy loyalty.
