At least if it is Bet365, their logo is just plain text an can be done in any colour. There has been some cracking football shirts ruined by their sponsors having logos/corporate colours that clash with the shirt colour.
But wouldn’t that only work if the owners also owned Bet365? And anyway, the EFL are wise to that I think
Gambling aside I have no idea. The chairman is a big contributor to the labour party and they as a company are the second largest contributor of tax in the UK.
Probably through discussions with Stoke City over the deals regarding Davies and Lindsay. Peter Coates his daughter and son own Bet 365, who also own Stoke City.
How come footballers arent allowed to bet even on matches that dont involve them yet a football club owner can open a betting concern?
Don't see the problem with a betting company sponsoring us only thing would be kids shirts would be plain or need another sponsor, I would have a problem with a pay day loan company sponsoring us.
There isn’t ant link at all at the moment. Davies will be a free agent in a few days and the Lindsay deal is as yet incomplete
I find it a bit bizarre to be honest that folk think because Stoke are buying a couple of our players we're gunna be sponsored by their company.
You asked a question GO and I was just trying to think of a possible link. With other Clubs with a much higher profile, just wondered like yourself, what would make Stoke want to sponsor us.?
