Must say although the pace of the games are slower the quality of the football is second to none.

Iv not been following it all but watching when I can.

Not be long now until both sexes play along side each other.

What’s everyone’s thoughts on the tournament and maybe having mixed sex teams in the future?

They cannot play mixed competitive games, it is forbidden by the FA, UEFA and FIFA once 12 and over.

I've not seen enough of it unfortunately, but the shift in standard since the last World Cup is good to see. The play is faster, the fitness levels have increased tremendously, even some of the Goalkeeping (that traditionally gets slated), has been fantastic. I think I've seen enough to say that the Women's game is coming on leaps and bounds.

I understand that is the ruling at present but in X years time when one of the governing bodies change there mind I’ll bump this post :)

I honestly think the way the women’s game is going at the moment with the quality and the rise in interest, it won’t be long before it’s sanctioned

I agree mate. Many years ago we lived in Hong Kong. My daughter then !! played for HK schools against the Phillipines as the only girl in both sides. She wasn't allowed to play when 12.

No player in the Premier League has ever done that?
Two great finishes in that game by Cameroon players, but you choose to mention a mistake that any player in any league has made?

Ok, we get it, you don't like Women's Football. Why not just turn it off?

I can't fathom Mrs Brown's Boys. I just leave it to those who can. maybe you should do the same?

IMHO it will never happen at professional level. The physical differences mean most contact sports will never be integrated for that reason alone.( Snooker already been done. Darts, Racquet/Racket sports, etc yes).

I did turn it off. I just happened to see the highlights of the Cameroon while channel hopping.

I'm not compelled to do anything. Someone started a thread and I chose to reply to. Just like you chose to reply to me.

I still think I chose it to do it rather than I was compelled.

Serious question. If you have watched games, as I suspect you must have, from your comments, don't you think the Women's game has improved over the last 4 years?

From the bits of the England games I have seen I think they have a very good chance of winning the tournament.

Good luck to them and I hope they do go all the way.
