    An article in todays mail (16th June) online says he has signed on a 4 year deal. I assume this is a new article confirming the deal? He looks a very good centre back!

    All this speculation about him signing.. Or not... Could the answer be found in a previous post..about his present situation, and that he's signed a pre contract with us but the club can't release the news yet due to his existing contract not expiring until June 30th

    I'm not sure that would be a problem with it being a non English team. Aaron Ramsey was announced months ago to Juve.

    Why would we pay a fee, as the article suggested, if he’s out of contract? I suspect one source isn’t correct..

    Is it because of his age? Under a certain age if they've offered a better contract there would be a fee.
