    I wasn't calling you a liar. Maybe worded badly but I meant that even though there may be a few moments of confusion (as there can also be without VAR) I don't think this wouldn't stop the initial celebrations. Hopefully the fans will be more informed when it's introduced to the premier league either via big screens or tannoys.

    Thought that one of the penalties that the Ref awarded to the USA Women against Spain was a
    tad harsh. Yes the American player was clipped, but she ran a couple of paces further forwards, before she finally went
    down. The American players put her under pressure and one even ran towards the monitor with her. I was convinced that the Refs decision would be overturned by VAR, but it was given and they scored and the States won 2-1 and unfortunately, the Spaniards were on their way home.
