    Poor in the Championship good for the most part in League One. Will not go down in Barnsley FC folklore that's for sure.

    I look forward to seeing his replacement.

    Seconded Lil. Pity they've gone to Stoke. No longer a high profile Club really. I think they could struggle to regain a
    place in the Premiership, unless they recruit some young talented players that is.

    Wonder if Lindsay will get many games, as they already seem have some very experienced defenders,
    re- Danny Batth, Ashley Williams and Ryan Shawcross.

    Good defender, formed a good partnership with Pinnock but dont think he was ever settled here and never really became a fans favourite so ive no problem with him moving on, we made a decent profit and im excited to see Anderson play.

    It's a good point. Personally, I always liked and rated him & wish him all the best. But now I'm looking forward to watching our new players.

    3 goals in 90 games. It's not the most important aspect of a CB but hopefully we will look forward to defenders chipping in with more goals. Especially when you think of the positions they get in to for set pieces.

    Do you not believe that young players can improve, or are you writing off everyone that we had last time we were in the Championship, despite them having an extra year of coaching, experience and bonding?

    Let's just say for arguments sake... If we were to see pinnock being the next to leave due to high wages being paid else where would you like to see the club bring in an older wiser head to steady the ship at the back.. One whos experience would help the young uns vastly... By being the calming influence in defence... Or go for one un tested at this level Asking for a friend lol

    Any player can improve but it's not a given that they will. If they do improve we don't know if it will be enough. Let's just say I'm concerned. I have faith in the manager but he's not a miracle worker. I can't see him turning some of these players into Championship quality.

    I think that's fair, but let's at least wait and see? I'm not writing anybody off before the season even starts, no matter how long they've played for us, or how successful they've previously been.

    He lacked pace which will limit his progression any further IMO. Wait until our attacking line taget him in Stokes defence.. At least 3 or 4 pens lol with the shirt pulling..
