    Agree with the last tweet re- experience. To my mind, it wouldn't do any harm to
    deviate from the spreadsheet for a couple of new additions. Any older player(s),
    would need to be able to hold their own in the Championship and be the type of
    performer that the younger lads could learn from and look up to. Maybe Daniel
    has got another German player in mind, that fits the criteria. We will have to wait
    and see.

    Suggesting he wants some experience in there... Could be interesting, does that mean players with X number of championship / prem experience or just experience in terms of league games?

    Yeah Conway and Daniel have stressed a number of times not to mistake experience and age. I still expect us signing loads of young lads who've played boat loads of games at a lower or foreign level.

    What I do find interesting in that is he wants 4 centre half's. Hopefully this means Pinnock must stay now, cant see us signing 3.

    all very positive IMO. I would love Wilks here if we could get him. I was saying to a mate other week that he would be my main transfer target if I was in charge of transfers as he would offer a real threat from the wing.

    Bart that Coutts lad from sheff utd for a bit of experience, free transfer. Very good player before injury, worth a punt i wonder.

    Enjoyed that, especially the end bit about the academy staff working together with the first team. I suspect he wants to take Barnsley as far as he can , then will look to pastures new. Wish they'd asked him about George Miller.

    He sounds really promising but this court case malarkey hanging over his head sounds a bit of a gamble. I read somewhere his brother got murdered in Chapeltown a few years back... whether this is unfair or not I don't know (I'm sure someone will shoot me down for it) but it doesn't sound to me as though he mixes in the right circles.
