    25 games in the championship, 42 in league one and 45 in league 2. Registered a promotion, in the team of the year etc etc etc

    Deserves to be valued over 2 million. A player who's won nothing, played less than 40 games in their career and has only registered 6 assists for me does not warrant a 2 million price tag. Unless you can convince me otherwise?

    I have it on good authority from someone ITK at Donny that Wilkes is a bell end. Bone idle and lots of attitude. Let him stay where he is, they deserve each other. ( or sign for Fleetwood)

    I’ve heard the complete opposite when it comes to Wilks. Loan deal is something we’re totally not interested in.

    See how this one pans out but I’m less confident it happens by the day. I know we have other targets as well. Our shopping is by no means over

    12 appearances in the Championship couldn’t get In a relegated side. Don’t make numbers up in today’s market stupid as it is he is worth whatever someone will pay. Bristol city are buying reserve reserve players for 8 million. Just because we undersell all our players doesn’t mean others do. How many games had Mawson played in the championship.

    Apologies if I've misread this, but are those supposed to be Pinnock's stats?
    He's started 9 championship games plus 3 sub appearances, 46 starts in League 1, never played in League 2, 37 starts in the National League.

    I think he's worth way more than 2 million, but that's nothing to do with his experience which is very limited for a player his age (just 55 league starts), he's just very, very good.

    I can tell you categorically that (loads) scouts have been monitoring him from all over the place.
    You would start at a minimum of £5 million if he were to be sold (god I hope not) in the current market. Or we could always phone Peterborough and ask them how they manage to get fantastic fees for players who usually are low league players.
    The thing with pinnock is, he has loads of admirers. You wouldn't sell your house or car at a reduced rate....you would take market value every time.
    Just hope he stays, I appreciate he has been offered a very good contract with us but it's now up to him.......or his agent, what he does next.
    As usual, if he goes.....it's the cost of his replacement at this level that concerns.

    Maybee one of the reasons we were relegated 2 managers preferred players like McDonald,Jackson and matt mills to pinnock but that's another story..

    Pinnock is worth more than we just sold Lindsay for imo at this moment in time he is a better player. Be interesting to see what we do get if he is sold as I think he is our most valuable asset.

    For us to risk near on 2million for Wilks would be stupid when he could be padded up this time next year. I like the player but I wouldn't want us to do that.

    Not saying I do either but unproven standard players like Pinnock and lindsay and Wilks cost 2-3 million. That’s the world we live in.

    What about the unproven Clarke who went from pompy to Brighton for £5million.
    Second best cb in division and they get twice as much!!

    Deli ali 6million?
    Roofe only played in league 2 3million?
    Asombalonga didn't posh get 6million and same with Dwight Gayle?
    Alfie mawson was unproven 5million?

    Alot depends on age and contract lengths as opposed to proven or unproven people class Marc Roberts as proven in the championship but I'd rather have pinnock or Lindsay before him v Fulham at oakwell. Sadly we will have neither.

    What is needed is the owners persuading these players that this is the place to be and persuading them that they ARE AMBITIOUS and taking the club forward not just providing a platform for players to come here and use us to better their personal careers.
